Day 5
Today we had our first breakfast at our 5 star hotel. We had ice creams and chirozs. Unfortunately no sushi today.
We went to our sister school. We got to do art. Jorja reunited with Jolin her exchange student. The cafeteria food was not our favourite.
Jorja is doing an overnight stay tonight while the rest of us go to Tiger Hill.
Day 4
We traveled to Suzhou today in a bus. We had lunch in a delicious restaurant. Most of us thought it was one of the meals we had. We then went to the silk museum. All the silk worms were interesting. Most of us tried to hold one. We the weaving and creating of silk was a long process. Mrs Hayward bought a beautiful scarf that Ebony and Jorja picked. The sweet and sour pork was the best we have ever eaten but the green tea was average to say the least.

Our thoughts on Shanghai
Today as we walked into the Museum one of the things I found interesting was the model of Shanghai. The model showed the whole city of Shanghai and all the famous towers of of China, such as the Oriental Pearl Tower.Today I have learnt that Shanghai is humongous!
From:Ebony.L
I have learnt that China is very busy and bikes and scooters are everywhere. I also liked Pearl tower and bartering.
From: Sierra
I have liked the roller coaster from the pearl tower it was a 3D virtual reality roller coaster and it was awesome. Myself Sierra Louise and Mrs Hayward were the only ones to go on the roller coaster, because Ebony is afraid of heights.

Day 3
Today the 4th of June, we did lots of different fun activities like: first of we went to the market and bought lots of different things, hats, sunglasses, presents, and statues. Then at 12:40 we went back to our hotel and hung out with Louise only for 15 mins though. 12:55 we had lunch: chips and noodles, while other tables just had chips. When we went to the planning museum we saw what Shanghai looked like. The Model was 3D and we loved it. After that we went to the temple, which was more for religious people, there was people praying to the gods and giving goods to them. After that we went to the hotel and just hung out and completed this blog
Day 2
Today we went to the Chinese gardens today there was lots of water we saw heaps of rivers. We went up rocks to look at views. Later we went and looked at the markets. Then we went on the big red bus and saw tall buildings everywhere we saw the pearl tower and the bottle opener. We got off at the Chinese gardens then walked to the train station and rode it to people’s Square and walked to the hotel room then for lunch we had dumplings. Then we went down the street to Starbucks and got a popcorn frappe chino.
Day 1
After finally arriving late last night, we have spent our first day at Pearl Tower and the market
Today as part as Team China we visited the Pearl Tower. In the Pearl Tower we spent time on the glass floor and while some students took place in the Virtual Reality Roller Coaster and the 5D Movie. After that we ate some lunch at a Restaurant .The dishes weren’t large but there was a large variety of food on the table. We are all getting very used to riding the Subways and understanding the timetables on the Subway of our locations.Today we have all visited the Chinese Shanghai Museum to find out more about the older days of Chinese culture! Our hotel is five star quality and we are enjoying the tv in our room, the amazing view of the buildings in China,The savoury, fruit and cultural breakfast buffet and shopping in the markets with our handfuls of money. In this country we are huge celebrity’s to the Chinese people,a lot of us have been grabbed into selfies-especially the ones with red and blond hair. But the feeling of getting a picture taken by someone on the Subway feels way better than being followed in public. From the Team China Epsom Students!
